March of Dimes Ready for Life: Preconception Health Toolkits

The Ready for Life North Carolina, formerly the North Carolina Preconception Health Campaign is a March of Dimes public health education campaign aimed to reduce maternal and infant death with an intense focus on African American communities. This webinar will review the importance of recognizing preconception health education and counseling as a strategy to reduce preterm birth rates and improve birth outcomes. We will explore current resources available to health care workers and providers and consider how they can be adopted into practice. These tools promote wellness and address health across the life span and have the potential to impact the lives of individuals and families.
