About the event

This event will focus on Region 2 data related to undesirable birth outcomes, including preterm birth rates, and maternal mortality rates while highlighting the importance of preconception and inter-conception health interventions. We will discuss information about food deserts in Guilford County as they relate to social determinants of health, namely maternal outcomes and health disparity. We will also share innovative approaches used by High Point and Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center to address the food hardship in that region.This program is designed to be interactive and your participation via video and audio is highly encouraged.
